Who is my DEC or EC?
Does the Annual Ethics Training make use of pop-up windows? (YES) As you explore your answers to the various scenarios you will encounter pop-ups.
What do I do if my computer is disallowing pop-up windows? By default, your web browser's pop-up blocker is turned on. When your computer encounters a popup, you will be prompted on the tools menu. When you are prompted, you have the option to allow pop-ups from the current web site. In this case, we recommend that you temporarily allow pop-ups from the web site of the Annual Ethics Training.
What other ethics rules do I need to know? The following link provides plain language explanations and topic summaries designed to enhance your understanding of the legal and ethical requirements for public service.
What do I do if my computer freezes up? NOTE: We strongly recommend that you use the Microsoft Internet Explorer when taking the Annual Ethics Training. The first thing to do is to wait a few minutes and don’t panic. The next thing you should do is press Ctrl-Alt-Delete at the same time then click the Task Manager button. Select the program that is not responding and then click on end task button. If this does not work, exit the Task Manager, hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete again at the same time then click the Shutdown button; this will shut your computer down and restart it. If this does not work turn your computer off and wait a few seconds and turn it back on.
Who do I contact about technical issues? If for any reason, you experience technical difficulties while taking the Annual Ethics Training, please contact Devon Simon at 202-260-1781 or email devon.simon@hhs.gov for help.
